The celebrations of the Day of the Enlighteners Saints Cyril and Methodius in the Bulgarian missions are usually very festive. Some of these events are accompanied by exhibitions forming part of the Travelling Exhibitions Project of the State Institute for Culture. Here are some of them:

United Kingdom: The exhibition “The Lost Civilisation of Ancient Europe” opened at the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology, University of Oxford. It is expected to … (?). Ambassador Lyubomir Kyuchukov expressed his satisfaction over the fact that the exhibition opens on the eve of 24 May, the Day of Slavonic Letters, Culture and Education.

Jordan: Ambassador Petar Dragnev met with representatives of the management of the Jordanian Radio and Television (RTV) in connection with the celebrations of 24 May, the Day of Slavonic Letters, Culture and Education. He handed them a CD from the Arab Section of the Bulgarian National Radio and a DVD with a documentary in English, promoting Bulgaria, and asked them to show the film on the Jordanian television around the date of the holiday.

Helsinki, Finland: “The Roofs of Sofia” exhibition will be shown in Helsinki. It is a photo exhibition by artist photographer Bistra Boshnakova. A copy of the exhibition will be presented in Skopje, Macedonia; Tetovo will host the exhibition “Traditions”, whereas the Moldovan capital Kishinev will show the photo exhibition “Bulgarian Monuments of Culture under the Aegis of Unesco”. Albania’s capital Tirana will host a copy of the “Traditions” exhibition.
