Presentation of the exhibition "Bulgarian Monuments under the Protection of UNESCO" in Romano di Lombardia
The Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Milan organized a presentation of the exhibition "Bulgarian monuments under the protection of UNESCO", provided by the State Cultural Institute to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in Romano di Lombardia. The exhibition was prepared in collaboration with the Municipality of Romano di Lombardia, Province of Bergamo. The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Romano di Lombardia, Mr. Sebastian Nicoli, and representatives of Italian institutions in the area.
The exposition is a collection of 16 photographs by Alexander Nishkov of the sites included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
As part of the world cultural heritage, the seven historical sites and the two parks represent our country in the List of the World Organization for Education, Science and Culture - UNESCO.
During the opening in Palazzo Muratori of the municipality, Maria Gancheva answered the questions posed to the visitors of the DKI traveling exhibition, allowing them to get acquainted with the characteristic features that make the country unique in the world. The main goal was to popularize the image of Bulgaria and its significant cultural-historical and natural sites that deserve world recognition.
