A travelling exhibition of the State Institute for Culture visits the Ethnographic Museum in Dubrovnik

On the eve of her participation in the Dubrovnik Forum, Ms. Velislava Petrova, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, opened the exhibition "Bulgarian Monuments under the Protection of UNESCO", located in the Ethnographic Museum in Old Dubrovnik.

In the year in which we celebrate the 75th anniversary of the creation of UNESCO, it is my honor to present one of the most important UNESCO locations in Bulgaria, in Dubrovnik - a city that is itself on the list of protected world historical and cultural heritage - from the Thracian tombs in Kazanlak and Sveshtari through the Madar horseman, the Boyan church, Nessebar, the Ivanovo rock monasteries and the Rila monastery, said Deputy Minister Velislava Petrova.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by the State Secretary of the Republic of Croatia Mr. Frano Matusic, representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Croatia, the city of Dubrovnik, the Dubrovnik-Neretva region, a number of important cultural institutions in the city, as well as the diplomatic corps.
