Minister Mladenov to launch two cultural events in Macedonia
The State Institute for Culture organised two concurrent cultural events in the framework of Minister Nickolay Mladenov’s visit to Macedonia. The “Traditions” exhibition will open in the University of Tetovo. Powerful large-scale compositional photos tell of the most interesting Bulgarian traditions, which continue to exist. The exhibition has been shown in more than 25 countries of Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia. In our view, the exhibition is an appropriate visual narrative about Bulgaria’s cultural and historic heritage; it provokes the interest and curiosity of foreign viewers, and their desire to learn more about this country.
In the City Library in Skopje, Minister Mladenov will open the “Roofs of Sofia” exhibition by the young and talented Bulgarian photographer Bistra Boshnakova. We expect that it will provoke the interest of the Macedonian public, and will stimulate our mutual efforts and mutual co-operation with the intention to encourage projects in the area of culture and cultural diplomacy.
