Francophonie Days in Israel

The Francophonie Days 2022 in Israel took place from March 1 to March 29. They were organized by the French Institute in Israel and the embassies of the member countries of the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF), accredited in the country.
The program traditionally included a film festival, a Francophone science forum, a French dictation competition, and literary debates.
With the assistance of the State Institute for Culture-MFA Bulgaria was presented at the film festival with the feature film “Letters from Antarctica” (2019), dir. Stanislav Donchev. It was presented at the Cinematheque in Jerusalem on March 5, and Holon on March 9. The film was received with great interest and got extremely positive reviews. According to the organizers, the Bulgarian film was one of the most visited within the festival.
At the main event on March 18 at the French Cultural Institute, the embassy participated with a promotional stand, which exhibited promotional tourist materials, Bulgarian wine and traditional food products. The stand attracted the interest of a large audience and was visited by a number of ambassadors and heads of cultural centers and institutions.
