Presentation of the Novel

     "Absolvo te" was presented in Frankfurt on March 15, 2022 - the second novel by the writer Georgi Bardarov, winner of the European Prize for Literature for 2021.

     The event at the Consulate General in Frankfurt was attended by fans of the author from the Bulgarian community and many distinguished guests from Germany, including the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Federal State of Hesse Dr. Ingo Endrik Lankau, Yumas Madoff - Head of the Council for foreigners to the municipality of Frankfurt, Teresa Goering from the Jewish Museum, one of the most famous and authoritative foreign Bulgarians Mrs. Zirgun Komati, as well as representatives of the National Library and the media.

     The beginning of the literary evening was given by Mrs. Antoaneta Baicheva - Consul General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Frankfurt am Main. In her introductory words at the presentation of the author, she emphasized the eternal themes of the novel and their relevance today.

     Georgi Bardarov expressed his great satisfaction with the fact that his book has been translated and published in German and his joy that the premiere of the novel starts in Frankfurt.

     A short film and a multimedia presentation drew attention to the main theme and idea of „Absolvo te". In a modern and interesting way of presenting a book, great interest was aroused among those present and an opportunity was given to discuss with the author on current issues.

     Traditionally, the evening ended with a reception, during which guests had the opportunity to continue the conversation with the author and share their views on the book. Numerous autographs were handed out and photos were taken with the author.
