Bulgarian cultural and historical heritage presented during the XIV International Arts and Crafts Expo Abuja 2021

A documentary video of the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences was presented during the XIV edition of the Abuja International Arts and Crafts Expo, which took place in the Nigerian capital in October 13-15, 2021.
The video makes a virtual tour of the National Archaeological Institute; it tells about the museum's exhibits and presents the rich heritage of the Bulgarian lands from crafts, works of art and architectural landmarks. It was selected by the organizing committee along with documentaries from France, Australia, Canada, China, Turkey, Algeria, Cuba, Venezuela, and Syria.
The chairman of the organizing committee, Otunba Runsewe, who heads the Nigerian National Council for Art and Culture, welcomed the first Bulgarian participation in the annual festival in Abuja and pointed out that Bulgaria is a recognizable country for Nigerian society both because of its cultural and historical heritage and because of the traditions of friendship and cooperation with Nigeria.
The Abuja International Arts and Crafts Expo is one of the main events in the calendar of cultural events in West Africa in 2021.
The documentary virtual tour of the National Archaeological Institute with Museum - BAS was provided to the Bulgarian Embassy in Abuja with the assistance of the State Cultural Institute in cooperation with the Museum.
