Festival of Bulgarian Culture in Durrës

12/08/21

"Bulgaria Day" was included in this year's edition of the Day of Cultural Diversity in Durrës. At the Archaeological Museum in Durrës, children aged 6-13 presented songs and dances from Bulgaria and Albania. In English, the children told the audience about Bulgarian history, culture and traditions. Interesting facts about Bulgaria were presented in the form of a quiz. Among the children participating in the program were representatives of the Bulgarian national minority in Albania.

A special guest of the event was Ambassador Raichevski, who after the official part offered to answer questions and was bombarded with a real "volley" of questions of the young participants on various issues related to Bulgaria and Albania, as well as personal experiences of the ambassador.

Many of them were enthusiastic about the idea of visiting the Bulgarian Embassy in Tirana and attending or participating in future cultural activities of the mission, where they could get to know the modern Bulgarian state and people even better. Some of the children even asked where Bulgarian language could be studied in Albania.

The organizers of the Mankind Tracks Center annually represent several European countries, and the children from their Leaders Camp prepare musical performances and a special program dedicated to the traditions and history of the respective country.
