Bulgarian Film Evening in Korea with a Screening of the Film "Letters from Antarctica"
On June 11, 2021, the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Republic of Korea, together with the Center for Bulgarian Studies at Hankuk University for Foreign Studies, organized a Bulgarian online film evening. Bulgarian citizens residing in the country, as well as the Korean public, incl. students from Hankuk University had the opportunity to watch the Bulgarian film "Letters from Antarctica", which, like many good films, tells about love, sorrow and hope.
In 2020, with the assistance of the State Institute for Culture under the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the embassy participated with the Bulgarian film in the International Film Festival of the Korean Foundation, which was also held online. According to the organizers, "Letters from Antarctica" aroused the greatest interest among movie buffs and gathered the most spectators during the event.
