DEMETRA DULEVA'S novel “Inverted Constellations” gathered diplomats and book admirers in Peroto Literary Club

The State Institute for Culture continues with the initiative "Writers Diplomats ", within which the premiere of the new book of the Bulgarian philologist, writer and diplomat - Demetra Duleva was held on May 31. The novel, entitled “Inverted Constellations”, is the story of a woman who touches on the themes of the meaning of life, of hope, of freedom, of the magic of birth and death. 

The premiere was hosted by the Peroto Literary Club. The book was presented by the philosopher and journalist - Toni Nikolov and Mrs. Snezhana Yoveva-Dimitrova - Director of the State Institute for Culture, and the host was Svetlozar Zhelev, an activist in the field of contemporary literature and book publishing.

The editor-in-chief of the Kultura portal and Kultura magazine Toni Nikolov shared about the novel: "If Demetra Duleva's first book “The Wandering Albatross” is a novel about emigration, the sensitivity of passing beyond and the traumas of transition, then the novel Inverted Constellations is its continuation, which presents a very specific model of return or migration."

The event was attended by university professors, diplomats and connoisseurs of contemporary Bulgarian literature. Among the guests were the director of the Diplomatic Institute - Mrs. Tanya Mihailova, Mr. Hristo Georgiev, Secretary General of the National Commission for UNESCO and Prof. Amelia Licheva - Editor-in-Chief of the Literary Journal.

The event is part of the cultural program of the Spring Book Bazaar 2021.
