A Portrait of Rakovski Presented at the School "G. S. Rakovski” in the City of Delhi, India
On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Rakovski, the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to India presented to Mrs. Lovli Vadhva, Director of the High School “Rakovski” in the city of Delhi, a portrait made especially for the occasion by order of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria.
A digital copy of the portrait was provided by the National Museum of Military History with the assistance of the State Institute for Culture under the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The secondary school “Rakovski” in Delhi is named after the Bulgarian revolutionary since 1998. In 2019 the school was awarded the prize “best school in southeast Delhi ”. More than 850 children study there.
