“Letters from Antarctica” at the European Union Film Fest in Russia

The EUFilmFest in Russia has become a tradition and this year again there are bright, interesting and exciting European films. On the okko.tv platform, which has over 17 million regular users, Russian viewers will be able to get acquainted for free with quality European cinema - 27 films from 27 European countries, with no previous screenings to the general public. Among them are winners of national and international awards and other prestigious film awards, as well as Oscar-nominated films.
In the program of the festival, the Embassy of Bulgaria in the Russian capital presents the film "Letters from Antarctica" (2019) - a profound story of pain, childhood and fantasy. Director - Stanislav Donchev, starring - Irmena Chichikova, Simeon Angelov, Diana Dimitrova, Maya Baburska, Ivan Stamenov, Hristo Pimpirev. The film was awarded the Special Jury Prize for Best Cinematographer at the Golden Eye International Film Festival in Tbilisi, Georgia (2019).
The Bulgarian participation at the EUFilmFest 2021 is organized with the support of the State Institute for Culture, MFA.
The festival is organized by the EU Delegation to Russia with the support of the embassies of the 27 EU member states in the Russian capital.
