The Third National Competition "Poster - Kostadin Otonov" 2020 Gathered Finalists and Guests at the Mission Gallery

An exhibition with selected posters from the third national competition "Poster - Kostadin Otonov" 2020 was opened at the Mission Gallery. The exposition presents the first ten nominated posters from the official jury, which interpret and cover important topics on the occasion of the anniversaries - 65 years of Bulgaria - Member of the United Nations and 75 years since the founding of the United Nations.
This year's third edition of the competition is under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and it involves students aged 14 to 18 (8th to 11th grade) from art schools at the Ministry of Culture.
During the opening, Deputy Foreign Minister Milen Lyutskanov congratulated the distinguished students from the national competition "Poster-Kostadin Otonov". "I am glad that the youth competition became part of the campaign of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I see that some of the distinguished young artists are among us today. I would like to wish them good luck in the further popularization of their messages, for which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to assist, as well as many creative successes in the future, "said Deputy Minister Lyutskanov.
Congratulations to the winners of the competition were also addressed by Mr. Valeri Yotov, Director of the UN Directorate for Cooperation and Development, who shared that current topics on ecology, social equality, human rights and world peace are increasingly exciting young people, which is reflected in their works.
Two of the participants in the competition, Nadezhda Boyanova and Nina Vracheva, students at the National Art High School "Tsanko Lavrenov" - Plovdiv, subject "Advertising Graphics", received special diplomas and gifts from the director of the State Institute for Culture Under the Minister of Foreign Affairs - Mrs. Snezha Yoveva-Dimitrova. Certificates are also provided for the rest of the participants.
Among the guests of the exhibition, which will remain at the Mission Gallery until July 17, were the director of the Tsanko Lavrenov National Art High School, Mr. Svetlozar Chavdarov, high school teachers, diplomats and representatives of the Ministry of Culture.
