Travelling exhibition 'St. Kliment Ohridski - Student and Teacher' in Warsaw

On December 6, 2016, the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Warsaw presented the traveling exhibition "St. Kliment Ohridski - Student and Teacher" and the documentary by Boyko Vassilev and Hrisimir Denev, "Walking on Wonders".

The event, organised by the Bulgarian Embassy and the Bulgarian Cultural Institute Warsaw on the occasion of the celebration of the 1100th anniversary of the assumption of St Kliment Ohridski, was attended by representatives of the cultural, business and academic spheres, the Bulgarian community and the diplomatic corps in Warsaw.

Welcoming the guests, Ambassador Emil Yalnazov emphasised the role of St. Clement in the formation of Bulgarian self-consciousness and spirituality, as well as the fact that he is revered by many peoples in Europe.

The film "Walking on Wonders" was presented by one of filmmakers, Boyko Vassilev, who participated in a discussion with the guests and answered questions.

Because of the great interest in the exhibition (a Polish-language was prepared with the support of the State Institute for Culture and made by the Embassy and Bulgarian Culture Institute Warsaw) and the film, they will be shown in the Warsaw University, in Lublin, Lodz, Poznan, Krakow, Katowice, as well as in Wroclaw, Bialystok and Gdansk, with the help of Bulgaria's honorary consuls.
