The Best Documentary Award of the Balkan Documentary Center for 2016
On August 12, 2016, in Prisren, Kosovo, took place the 7th edition of the Discovery Program of the Balkan Documentary Center, which took place within the framework of the large documentary and short film festival "Dokufest".
An authoritative international jury, in which Ambassador Danchev participated, this year also honoured the best project from among the 10 selected for the award "Best BDC Discovery 2016" from the State Institute for Culture at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as a long-time partner of the initiative.
The "Discoveries" programme focuses on documentary film projects by young professionals from across Europe, focusing on its goals of creating opportunities for collaboration among documentary film and civil society, non-governmental organizations and the media.
